I've been trying to keep up with all the technical niggles that are going in in ALMS and IMSA right now. Am I correct in saying that this car is built for the GT (Formely GT2) category and if so, its powered by a 5.5L V8 rather than the GT1's 7.0L?

As I was watching the video I was trying to see the effort it took to press the paddle shifters. It didn't look like any pressure at all. I currently have a EVOX as a daily commuter with the SST auto and when I take her to the track and use the SST Track mode in auto sounds exactly like that, (Shift points not actual engine sound). Wish I had a SST in my 2006 Z06 where I could have every shift type option available,

Btw with that new gear box do you still have to rev match or is it left foot braking and off the throttle downshift?

@zippy476 The car blips automatically but I right foot brake only because it's a bit tight in the car for me. I can do both though if I want.
