Fingolfin's march on Angband and his fight against Morgoth is one of my favorite scenes in the Silmarillion. It gets me choked up sometimes when I read it. Talk about having balls!

@Gasfi Of course Fingolfin was the greatest warrior of the Noldor, who else would it be? Are you confusing him with Finarfin?

still i have to admit that challenging morgoth was the most brave and unwise act of his life ( both opossite to his normal characteristics) that eventually cost him his death leaving Noldor without their wise king....
