There is no overunity, unfortunately... This is working as usual gravitation field, which can speed up a brick, if you will slightly move it over the edge of the roof. The roller accumulates energy during period, when you sets it in the equilibrium position. You spends energy to overcome some repulsion, or attraction forces, when you are setting roller to this position. It's enough to move it even to the right, through the "tri gate", or to the left. The distance will be the same.

I'm currently working on a different principle and if it doesn't run I will probably return to the tri-gate concept, adding your discovery (if you give me the permission of course)

I will be but I have put it on hold for now. I have a few Idea's how this can be incorporated into a continuous motion. I am convinced that there will be enough spare energy from entering the array to make it loop. Time will tell.
