Sky Sanctuary is the last, second last, or third last level in Sonic 3 or Sonic 3 & Knuckles. During this level if you play as Knuckles and fight Metal Sonic who uses the Master Emerald to transform in to a Super Metal Sonic.If you play as Sonic you have to go through this level chasing the newly risen Death Egg before it gets to far in orbit while fighting several EggRobo's and weaker versions of the Metal Sonic. (This is the same scenario with Tails.)

It's just a texture/recolor mod. If you want a real Sky Sanctuary in 3D, play Sonic Generations.

You could have at least changed the actual level design and added a few more polygons to make it look more authentic.
