  • cool, are you starting on an upstroke? i always start this lick with a downstroke. it's much easier to me that way but whatever is comfortable i guess.

  • Thanks. Yes, I don't remember but it looks like if I start with an upstroke. I don't start allways with upstrokes, it depends on the the number of strokes I should play before pass to the other string. So if I finish the 1st string with an upstroke it's easier to start stroking the 2nd string with a downstroke. In this case it begins with 5 strokes on the 1st string so if I start with an upstroke I'll finish with an upstroke and start the 2nd with a downstroke.

  • how do you get the timing right and how long did it take you to get that???

  • I've been playing for 8 years, but It's been 3 years since I started to practice that kind of scales.

  • ahhh, lol ive been playing for 2 years almost, but yer i dont play that kind of metally music i play more like rock n blues, right now im learning a song called europa by santana but yer thanx for reply i might have to do a vid of me playing guitar.

  • Well, if you watch my vids you'll see that I'm more bluesy too. I've heard that song, Santana rocks.
