Using a book in Annotator Mode lets you do more than the default Reader Mode.
Press the Annotator toggle to get started.

You can still use all the basic Reader tools, so see how they work in the previous chapter.
But the Annotator also has its own tools, which show up in a bar below the Reader tools. Heres what they do.
Press the save icon to save your annotations. Theyre also saved automatically when you change pages or open a new book.

Press the PDF export icon to convert handwritten notes to a PDF file.

You can save them to your library or email them.
Choose a title by typing on the touchscreen.
Press the delete annotations icon to remove everything you drew or wrote by hand on a page.

Press the undo icon to clear the last annotation you made.

Press the re-do icon to bring it back.
When the pencil tool is selected, you can draw images or handwrite notes on your book with a stylus.
The annotator toolbar has two erasers. When the basic one is selected, any parts of annotations that you touch with your stylus disappear.

When the Stroke Eraser is selected, touching an annotation with your stylus will delete the entire stroke.
The easiest way to delete a handwritten word is to drag your stylus across it with the Stroke Eraser tool.
The paintbrush tool lets you paint in thick strokes.
If you want to select text like you would in Reader Mode, choose the Text Selector tool. It lets you use Reader tools like Search and Copy without leaving Annotator Mode.
To select handwritten notes, press the selection tool and drag your stylus over them.
Move them around the page by dragging the center of the selection, or resize them by dragging the edges.
You can also copy selected annotations to another page using the Copy tool in the reader toolbar.
To copy a selection and delete it at the same time, use the Cut tool, also in the top toolbar.
Finally, press the paste icon to put your copied annotations back on the page.
When the shape maker tool is turned on, you can draw basic shapes like circles and squares and theyll automatically turn into perfect shapes.

When the ruler tool is turned on, all lines turn out perfectly straight.
The rest of the Annotator icons let you choose the size and color of the pencil and paintbrush.

  • Será que é multitarefa. Pode-se abrir mais de um arquivo, livro, anotação, por vez?

  • Very useful!
