This is just a vid for Emma Shapplin's beautiful song "Vedi, Maria..." with English subtitles...

The translation comes from the booklet of Emma's first album "Carmine Meo"...
The only thing that's different from the booklet translation is that I kept the name "Maria" instead of "Marie"...
And since today is M's 17th birthday, I would like to dedicate this vid to him...

@ithas89 Actually, he's right. The British Empire was geographically largest, followed by the Mongolian Empire. The Roman "only" spanned the Mediterranean Ocean (not exactly but it was expanded around the ocean and then reached north europe, balticum, Middle East etc.) It can however be argued that it had one of the biggest influences over its conquered regions, along with the British Empire and maybe "The American Empire".
