@GraveUypo I very well know that video. It's close to this time here, but of course, driving a half-sim like NFS:SHIFT allows you some wider/wilder manouvers. You can do that with even GT5. Even with all the realism mods, this driving is still very close to the edge, even too much than in real life. That one bump to the wall in that one corner would be fatal to a real life car.
I could mod SHIFT so that car is totally trashed eved by a minor collision, but I didn't wanted to go that far.

@BlackStar250874 times might be close but tbh that's only because one is a game and the other is real life. the professional driver drives waaaaaaaaaaaay better and it shows on both braking timing, cornering and racing line in general. this video has many slips that would be unforgiveable for a pro. one good example: @3:54.
my point is: its a cool video, but really, not even close to a pro driver.
ps: wasn't this your friend driving? why are you defending him in first person?

@GraveUypo Yes, it was my friend driving. I just wrote that because he is such a cool guy and likes to drive ONLY this track in NFS:SHIFT. In GT5, he wins races that nobody else can.
I would't call him a professional driver, but he really should be one. He repairs/tunes cars for a living and has won some amateur races using RWD race cars.

@GraveUypo .... that was also a huge record time attempt. That explains a bit reckless driving. He always does that.. In a more realistic simulator like GT2, that driving would be "a bit different".
