it's a 1966 eldorado fleetwood

Starting in 1959, the Eldorado Biarritz (convertible) and Eldorado Seville (coupe) looked very much like the DeVille with trim upgrades. For 1961 the Seville was dropped and only the Biarritz remained through 1966. This is definitely an Eldorado Biarritz - you can tell by the chrome trim running the length of the car - that the Deville didn't have, among other subtle differences.

yummy!

Thts NOT a deville. The deville has an V under the hood ornament, this type of trim is the eldorado style. Also the side trim is eldorado style. I own a devile, I know what I´m talking about ;-)

You know. Not long ago I was with my grandmother in Athens and we just saw a Cadillac seemed to this one(somewhat newer and green)... and she was like:
"Look, it's a Cadillac"... and I was like: "OmGod, they've found Titanic!
I LOVE AMERICAN CARS! They're awesome!

By 1966, the Eldorado wasn't what it started out to be - it was just a trim level ove the Coupe DeVille. 1967 saw the Eldorado as a Cadillac version of the Olds Toronado - and the Cadillac Fleetwood became it's own model above the Sedan DeVille (with a longer wheelbase). That '66 still would have had the 429 Cu In engine.

Your right this is a Eldorado, because after the 1965 Eldorado ended, they put the name Eldorado, on the Deville since they ran out of their designs of the real eldorado and waited until 1968 to make their own eldorado.
They probably used the Deville as a replacement car for the eldorado and used that name for the deville as a trimeline name like; "Caddillac Deville Fleetwood Eldorado Brougham", for example. Until, cadillac made a new eldorado in 1968 with it's own design.
Excuse me but, this is a 1966 Cadillac Deville Fleetwood, not Eldorado!
