The BNP was shunned by other politicians at the vote count in the SECC Glasgow where several candidates refused to share a platform with the BNP. This did not deter BNP candidates from going onto the stage for the first two constituencies. SSP candidates Frances Curran for Glasgow East and James Nesbitt for Glasgow Central refused to go on the platform with the BNP and the Green candidate for Glasgow Central likewise boycotted it. Those candidates from the other parties in those constituencies who did share a platform did so at a distance from the BNP candidate who stood alone at the other side of the returning officer reading out the results. There was almost continual booing and jeering, especially when the BNP candidates' names were read out. The BNP candidates put on a show of defiance, but were not so confident afterwards as seen in two other videos I uploaded earlier where one is surrounded offstage by people jeering and booing and the other's attempted on-stage speech is drowned out by all the heckling. After the hard time the first two candidates got from the crowd, the BNP candidates for the remaining constituencies did not go onto the platform.

  • the "british" national part are a joke. The majority of british people think they are scum looking to divide the nation on race. They are a racist organisation that garner support from the benefit scroungres who hate foreigners for one eason only - they are a threat to their income (benefits) which may force them to work for a day for an honest wage

  • am I the only one who thinks that that guy from glasgow east doesn't look white? I thought that they only allowed whites?

  • @infidel1978 Trust me eating fatty foods is better than drinking alcohol because Alcohol is more poisonous. Scientists have proved this it cam on the BBC news. Just by drinking a bit alcohol can damage the body.

  • @ADIMM0 Nope wrong Alcohol is like anything else there is nothing wrong with aslong as you drink it in moderation you not suppose to drink it all the time just like you can't eat fatty food all the time it will do you harm but o.k in moderation. And after having a stressful week it good for people to have a drink and relax.People that cause trouble cause trouble anyway that's their personality and how they've been brought up
