Jim Albrecht Named Entrepreneur of the Year in Manufacturing

Bismarck, ND ~ Marketplace of Ideas awarded their Entrepreneur of the Year in Manufacturing Award to Jim Albrecht of ComDel Innovation, Inc., Wahpeton, ND, during the Marketplace of Ideas Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at the FargoDome in Fargo, ND.
Under the leadership of Jim Albrecht, ComDel Innovation, Inc. began business in December 2007. The company has grown from an estimated 60 employees to 142 full and part time employees since then. He also formed Heartland Precision and purchased the threading operations from Industrial Plating. At the core of the technologies for the companies is precision machining which is supported by injection mold building, metal stamping, automation building, production machining, injection molding, automated assembly and metal finishing. These technologies are supported by a strong technical staff in engineering, tooling, maintenance craft, quality and operations. This has resulted in a level of integration from design to high volume manufacturing not seen at other contract manufacturing companies, and an expanded customer base to several new markets, Fortune 500 corporations, and regional businesses.
Marketplace of Ideas provides education, support, mentorship, solutions, and networking opportunities to inventors, entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
