  • @jpaulose11 I'm not sure but I believe H.G Bishop Zachariah mor Nicholovos was enthroned there. That's what gives the the right to claim cathedral.

  • what do u mean by a cathedral

    which bishop lives there

    self proclaimed cathedral

  • how long is a syrian palm sunday liturgy?

  • Palm Sunday is actually the last great day spoken of in Leviticus 23 preceding the feast of Tabernacles.

  • @icecreamcake128 Hoshi ana in Hebrew, which means LORD Save.

  • Excellent: Name your "serious" scholars.....

  • Just because you tell me that doesn't make it true.

EVERY serious scholar agrees that Jesus Christ did exist! This is not some disputed thing by anyone credible.

Everyone agrees that history proves that Christ's existence is an empirical fact.

If you want to talk about faith. think about this..how much of what YOU believe are you taking on faith? Almost EVERYTHING that you believe you take on faith.Problem is you use dubious and fraudulent sources (as in this argument)

  • I told you that accepting Jesus the Christ as a matter of Faith is fine BUT there is absolutely no physical proof nor written proof anywhere. Stop using Faith your argument

  • It is a fact that the angelic choir exists(celestial music).Within Orthodoxy all of our chants originated from Saints in Deification who perceive this "music".In fact there is a special type of saint who hears this and all our chants originate there.

BTW if you do not think Jesus Christ existed then you are an ignoramus who willfully ignores the truth, because the historical evidence proving that He existed is irrefutable.

  • You are entitled to the opinion derived from your faith. Like it or not, however, ancient Egypt greatly influenced Greece and through the Patriarchate of Alexandria, itself influenced by ancient Egyptian chanting, the Byzantine church. As for Jesus Christ, that is also a matter of faith in that there is absolutely no proof of his ever having existed, +Faith is wonderful in that it gives comfort BUT never forget that Greeks always believed in Truth.
