  • Nice job, but the toe and heel have more shine than the rest of the boot. A little odd.

  • @LateNightCable , I had problems with adding polish to rest of the boot, because layer of polish is cracking and flaking when I wear the boots.

  • Please make a video about how you spitshined them! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!

    :)

    ...please?

  • When I'll have some free time, I'll try to make a vid.

    Cheers

  • Back at Ft Huachuca, we had to have that kind of shine every day. Some people never could get it right. I bought Corcorans so I could have a nice easy to maintain shine.

All I used was a base layer of Lincoln wax, and I kept up the mirror shine with a tightly woven cotton rag and a small amount of water.

Of course black boots are a thing of the past, except for the rare occasion when wearing a dress uniform. Now we have rough leather desert tan, and the art of boot polishing will soon be dead.

  • Ex Army, Corc's are the best!

  • Can you PM me what method you used to shine these? I just got a pair and want mine to look like that.

  • @fishman017 the rough out boots provide better camouflage than black boots. however, a pair of spit shined boots would look so much better on garrison duty.

  • @fdfvdfify I just think it's odd, because it looks uneven, which it is. I polish my entire boot, although not to such a mirror luster, so I have no problems with flaking.

  • @LateNightCable No mate, that isn't weird at all. It flakes if you put it on the rest.

  • @LateNightCable

Its actually not, not in the military anyway

  • Where did you get those? I can't find them anywhere....

  • Yep, spit shine is for toe and heel only. If you try that on the rest of the boot it will flack and crack.

  • those are the shiniest boots ive ever seen

  • Absolutely beautiful !!! Now where's the how to video?!

  • I wish air force didnt phase out their BDU's, i wouldve worn PJ boots like those with them! plus i hate wearing low quarters cuz with those boots i wouldnt have to shine the entire boot, unlike low quarters which gotta be reflective shine like that =\
