@Nikolaii2571 Well, a Christian would say that the word of God is inerrant so if that's what it says, then they believe that it happened. In any case, if Jesus had done the miracles it says he did, he'd be the most famous man in history and if you put coming back from the dead on top of that, well, there would be scores and scores of literature about him. The thing is it didn't happen and if this is god's book, he does a shitty job of portraying himself for everyone to believe.

There is a far more insidious "religion" which costs huge sums of money to be initiated into the "higher" level. This "church" kidnaps its members, sues its critics hires P.I.s and more lawyers to spy and then defame you should you dare employ critical thinking when it comes to some wannabe "Commadore" whose image is saluted. It is THIS "church" which deserves some serious looking into. Then there is Sun Myung Moon who, like his science fiction counterpart, also employs thought control.

@zideffil good for you i must say that you researched. But i didnt find the same results you did. Jesus is mention in other ancient writings by those who did not believe he was the Messiah. Even Rabbis who despide him speak of their hatred towards Him. Keep researching my friend. I do believe not because of what others teach but that i did my research of the bible and not from all Christian resources

If one DARES to do as I did, and research the validity of the Bible yarns - when they were written and by whom, and all the skullduggery and ploys that went into forcing Christianity on poor souls unnder the threat of torture and death, one comes to the inevitable onclusion that the whole thing stinks to 'high heaven' right down to the fact that even today there is so much BS that goes on behind the scenes that one would do well to ostay as far away from it all as is humanly possible. Scandalous

It is odd that Christians never notice that we have tons of info on Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Ghengis Khan, various rulers of many countries, but yet, where Jesus is concerned, there is practically nothing. Even the yarn where he was crucified, like many in those days, it says that the tombs were opened and a couple of hundred people came out of them and wandered around. IF this happened, then it would be the most amazing thing ever, yet, there is NOTHING written about it anywhere.

Coals of fire heaped on Copeland's head is fine with me except that 'god' won't be doing it because, sadly, I found out that the Bible is nothing more than a collection of myths and tales for children - in other words, allegories. I read it cover to cover 3 times and compared notes with other books and spent a LOT of time and I found out that - snakes don't talk, people don't turn to salt, the flood could not have happened, and there is NO MENTION of Jesus that is credible outside of the Bible.
