  • I didn't have that experience at all. He was really cool and talked about his charts with me. Maybe your buddy came across negatively. You can't let another person's opinion mess something up for you. if YOU meet him and he's a dick, then you can say that... but word of mouth isn't a great way to form opinions.

  • damn there is some hate going on this vid.....all I know is dude is a cold blooded gtr man, jerk or not. Tone, feel and chops. what elso do you want?

  • Great guitarplayer! He looks a bit like the young Judge Reinhold :D That's cool!

  • @fluffhead059

Sounds like he is counting 7 over 3 and 5 over 3. Basic triplet time, with more notes in the same duration. This is a common way of playing out then in then out, etc.. Great player.

  • What rhythm is he playing at around 0:53?? i've heard Metheny do the same thing and I'm very curious.

  • He is unbelievable. I love this video. Well done Mr. Rogers.

  • @Saxyman14 same here. he was really welcoming, and we talked pedals for a bit - not an asshole whatsoever.

  • Fabulous playing.

  • Adam Rogers is one hell of a player!

  • Adam is one of the nicest cats i have ever met. I've known him for many years. he has always been super cool.

  • I highly doubt that. Where did you hear this? Also, are you from Pittsburgh? That would explain why you spelled classy wrong...

  • Does this mean that the pick's angle is rotated 90 degrees from the conventional picking angle? I'm having a hard time getting the Benson grip- it seems to force the opposite side of the pick's tip from the conventional: Downstrokes will move thru the string slightly on the right side of the pick's tip and left on the upstroke. I must get this grip!!!
