  • Good tutorial but a credit card is a bit better than a screwdriver, does not mark the soft plastic so easily.

  • @maddog7hoo indeed, I don't like to use a screwdriver anymore - not really good at all actually now that I have more experience doing this.

    The iPad won't let you use it for anything. Remember: Apple forces you to use only their products only. Besides, who would be stupid enough to spend $500 to $800 for a halfassed wannabe computer when you could buy an Acer Aspire One N450 netbook for $300 and get 10x more the use out of it? For the cost of an iPad you can get BOTH an Acer Aspire Revo and an Aspire One!

  • i've thought about getting one of these strictly for the use of nintendo emulators (GBA, SNES, and N64 Respectivley) is this a good machine to do this on? (also if I got my hands on an external optical drive could I install and run starcraft 1 and warcraft 3 smoothly?)

  • A child can do that. Try replacing the HD, that is the real chore.
