(In english below) L'albúmina és un dels primers procediments fotogràfics que permetia fer còpies en paper a partir d'un negatiu, normalment, de vidre. Aquest tipus de fotografia neix a partir dels descobriments d'Abel Niépce de Saint Victor i de Louis Désiré Blanquart-Évrard i va ser utilitzat al llarg de la segona meitat del segle XIX. La fotografia a l'albúmina és el procediment fotogràfic sobre paper més característic del segle XIX.

Albumen is one of the earliest photographic processes that allowed to make prints from a negative, usually, on glass. This type of photography comes from the discoveries of Abel Niépce de Saint Victor and Louis Désiré Blanquart-Evrard and was used throughout the second half of the nineteenth century. This albumen méthod is the photographic procedure on paper most characteristic of the nineteenth century.
