Basically john won the race. Faster 1/4 mile time and mph just the stang got the jump! Damn John Go faster for us lol.

Lol only because John wasnt fast on the reaction time. Watch the incar vid of this video and he was gain very steadly on the stang. If they would have started the same and john didnt spin half track he would have got the stang by half a car or more.

yes john is a goddd.. and not just in the dsm community, anyone know where his car ranks among 1/4 mile awd dragsters? he has got to be top 3 . also i love how in this vid all you can hear is that 4g63 rippin through the gears. sounds almost like a street bike lol

And to think of the weight that talon is carrying down the 1/4 mile. Simply AWESOME. Shepherd is also running a transmission that he sells over the counter. Talk about toughness.

wow your an idiot. look at the boards a little closer. the mustang ran a 7.86, shep ran a 7.70. the mustang was just lucky and got the jump off the line and shep was spinning mid track. i guess it would be a little easier to launch a mustang with an auto tranny considering shep was launching an awd 5 speed. just a little more difficult. tell ya what tool bag just go crawl back into the hole you came from until you start learning respect for all cars.

how about you go to the in car view i have in my favorites and watch how that thing drives. you will also be able to notice the fact that shep was rolling up on him at the top end. if he would have had a better launch the mustang wouldn't have won.

@78913090 why do people not act like crapstains and give respect to other brands and styles of cars when credit is due. that mustang was an automatic while the dsm is a 5 speed manual. i'm guessing you never looked at the in car camera or really listened to my video to realize that over half way down the track his car was spinning and he had to steer the crap out of the car to keep it straight. just crawl back in your hole and try to act like a big boy.
