Championship Manager 97/98 updated with 2009/2010 player, team and manager data. Not bad, not bad at all!

Thoroughly recommend this game and dare I say it knocks the spots off the modern day 'processor hungry' FM 2010 version - although it's a game of opinions!

It runs Waaaay too slow in DosBox for me. Anyone got a solution?

@Astley What runs slow? If it's when a game is being played press the space bar to speed it up/slow it down!

Great effort. I can get my game to run but having one major issue with DosBOX. Essentially, the game occassionally crashes after a match. But when you load it up again, the game has been played but the points haven't been added to the table. This is a nightmare as if you win the league by a point, it doesn't recognise it as the comp think there's a game left. Any advice anyone?

@CapitalDan Total guess mate but might be an issue with something in the tmdata.db1 file.....make sure that all the teams are in the correct division and that there isn't a typo - have you deleted or altered any teams in the editor etc......some teams are hard wired into the engine so you have to be wary of what you change and what you don't.
