One Moody, Obese Dove

Doves are traditionally a symbol of peace. This bird does not fit that description. This mourning dove basically lives in my bird feeder (that's mounted in a window), laying the smack down on any other bird who tries to eat. It will even take naps in there if I don't put food out, waiting for me to feed it. It is definitely far larger than any of the other birds due to its insatiable appetite and attitude. In other words, this is a pointless video about a corpulent bird that I put to music so there's some hope you won't fall asleep watching it. Enjoy.

He's most likely a male. Males are very territorial and even females can be with those who get near her nest.

This one was like fifty bucks...not too too bad, and very durable.

Where did you get it for that much?? They're around $100 everywhere I look.

A little mom-and-pop pet store, not one of the big guys. Check some local pet stores in your area, they tend to offer more reasonable prices.
