I think it's a brilliant idea and great feature which really makes a difference.. If you like texting, believe me, this is 10 times better than texting on a droid.. RIM knows its shit, but unfortunately like any other company the media is brainwashing everyone and companies have to copy Apple over and over again.

I think it's better because it's more accurate and you don't have to worry about tapping something by accident, so you can click.. Apparently a lot of people don't like it, they prefer the Apple touch which is not great if you like to text..
