It's supposed to piss you off. It's supposed to piss you off to the fact that war is being misused and it's supposed to show you the horror of war - that was is not supposed to be taken so lightly. It's a morbid satire or how the average American thinks of war. Pride in death is not worth living for.

i had to litsen and analyze this song for Global Studies class, and the impact it had on protesters in the 60's. my teacher wound up getting scolded because she was teaching us in to biased of a manner..... this song rules, and it really brings out the true colors of war.

Where was the protest songs in 2003 to now ? Where is the anti war movement gone ? It seems more and more likely it was an anti George Bush movement. If Bush bombed Libya or Yemen he would have been crucified (and rightly so)

Leave them the hell alone, when the people get sick of the opression, they will rise up, just look at Egypt and the rest of the arab countries in turmoil nowdays. If the US just left Iraq alone, there would be an Iraqi spring happening now too.
