  • Jesus... reading all these crap childish bitching comments makes me realize why wars have and always will be fought, nothing ever changes eh!

  • Freaking well done Cezarion----great video for a great song.....I visited Ypres in Belgium this past March, and it is truly "Hallowed" Ground----it is humbling and uneasy to stand at the thousands of grave markers......Stop bickering about who died, who fought, who won, who lost...just remember that 100's of thousands of men from both sides died on this small parcel of land....soldiers die on both sides, and regardless of who starts it, or who wins it, War is truly a tragedy for all.....

  • @666666MetalHead The independence was a long process started in 1867. The confederation Act was only a strategic move to assimilate french canadians and protect our frontier from United States expansion after Civil War. In fact Canada joins League of Nations in 1917. Also, you forgot the Statute of Westminster in 1931 That stated that none of british parliament law have power in Canada without our agreement.

  • Mmm... The Battle of Passchendaele, a tragic horror for all those who've witness it. Hope given, hope lost, fleeting and distant. May the dead rest in peace, soldiers. :3 Otherwise, nice song. xD

  • 1 thing not a rant or anything so please don't argue but this song wasn't about the Canadians lol.

  • @Mcplkelly That is also true, and like you said, Germany lost, so they really should have just honored the damn treaty.. either way, whatever happened, we can't change it.

  • @Nekrofacy Versailles was not worse than other treaties at the time. Versailles was a far kinder treaty than what the Germans imposed on Russia in 1917 with Brest-Litovsk, on Romania with the Treaty of Bucharest. Not to mention the German treaty forced on the French after the Franco-Prussian war demanded huge reparations and the loss of land.

Really, the Germans were just whiners in this case who ignored the much harsher treaties they imposed on the defeated when they won.

  • @jaytoaste Um.... We Canadians were independent since 1867 with the Confederation Act, read your story bro.

  • @1ELforce Actually he's a tough one. He went flying!

  • @snipingmaster1234 WW1 Was everyone's fault really, everybody contributed to the powder keg.. WW2 was more the Allies fault for the extreme terms of the treaty of Versailles really..
