  • hey! first love your videos so addicting to watch and you kinda inspired me to do Vbloging too (i'll do that sometime soon lol XD I want to get some free/easy/good film editing program for that first know anything that might help?)

but my actual question is that , I am a 3rd year in college and I will be graduating soon (next year) and I was planning on taking a yearish off so I can study for GRE and apply for Grad school and stuff but do u have any suggestion what I can do for my year off?

  • @BlackStar345Rose or maybe where I can find Grad school scholarship ???

  • @BlackStar345Rose you should have a scholarship advisor at school--that's how i heard about the Soros! There might be lists available online as well. Depending on your field...I'm not so sure about support for the arts. I think the Ford Foundation just launched a crazy scholarship for filmmakers!

  • @BlackStar345Rose hrm... I've had friends who are working for NGOs, doing research, working for banks, freelancing as production assistants. I'd say open up your opportunities and definitely apply for work in anything you've always been curious about, but never had a chance to try, or continue work that you found meaningful in college. (ps, i didn't really study for the GRE, but that's only cause I was advised not to...long story...its a weirdo test!)

  • CD CD CD!!!

I don't know that I have anything else 'crucial' to ad.... but GOOD LUCK with all the other crazy stuff your doing!!

  • @natt12321 natt!!1 hihihi! how is life??

  • Hi!!! Hope all is going well for you. I am graduating from culinary school by the end of this month and was accepted as a intern at Clarige's in London!!! I am so exited but I need to find scholarships to help me afford life in London if you have any suggestions please let me know I need all the guidance I can get. Thank you in advance hope you have a great one :0)

  • @worldismarble I dunno why it's taken me so long to reply to this... life is hectic! what with work and college and trying to not appear like a hermit! haha, but enjoying it all the same!

  • thanks for the reply! so informative :)

  • What field are you applying to? Why a phd and not a Masters?

I didn't know you could get a phd without a Masters or equivalent. At least in the engineering and science grad programs I know about you need a Masters first, that takes about two years, and then a phd takes about three more years after that.

Ya, the GREs suck. I didn't really study for them either and did pretty bad, but I still got into my program. I don't think the GREs should be important anyway.

    Good luck!

  • You are such and inspiration to me! It's because if your vids that I made the decision to apply to fashion school in London instead of stating in the US! *fingers crossed that I actually get in*

Where did you find out about scholarships for schooling abroad?

  • omg. you're like super Lan

  • @worldismarble THANK YOU ;D

  • What did you major in?

  • @worldismarble That's probably a good idea! I just have a hard time with what sounds the letters make. My Czech friend said "Czech is easy, because you say exactly what is written, unlike in English" to which I said "That's all well and good, but how I would pronounce those letters and how you would are completely different!" Plus there are a lot of accents. Good luck with it though! You should keep us posted in your Vlogs (which I'm lovin') :)

  • Which Grads school did you apply to? Any near Canada? =P
