Scrubs Filming Location

Pictures and information from my holiday/vacation to the Scrubs Filming Location, I'm from Australia and this was one of the only things I wanted to do in America. All these photos are mine and owned by no one else. Any Questions about anything feel free to ask, i will respond very quickly. It is about a 5 - 10 minute drive to the Chinese Thearter so if you are going to the thearte and like Scrubs I recomend going to it. From the outside of the hospital it looks very trashy but its whats on the inside that matters. Its not a rich or poor neighboor its just like a normal street, but the street is very long. I went there in April 2009. If you want to go there i recomend catching a taxi, thats what I did and it worked out fine. Its about a 40 minute drive from the LAX aiport, but worth it! It was the highlight of my holiday. Because they do so much filming outside I got to see where they did alot of filming. Scrubs has sadly changed there location for the 9th season, they dont film here anymore, they filmed seasons 1-8 here. They now film in a studio.The Adress of the old Hospital is 12629 Riverside Drive, North Hollywood.

It's actually the biggest dream I have (to visit this medical center).

I recently heard that the building will be broken down soon, do you know anything 'bout that?

youtube for some reason hasnt let me reply back to you for a long time for some reason, anyway, that is so awesome that those people got to go inside, i would have gone crazy if i was aloud to do that. And if i got to do a little part in the show i probly would have fainted.

I worked at this hospital from 1975 to 1985. My sister worked there, too, and my dad was on the medical staff from 1973 to just before the hospital closed. It was a great place to work, and many movie stars and celebrities came through our doors because of its close proximity to the movie studios (Burbank, Universal, Warner) and that many of them lived in the area.

@PandaPanda18 I live a block away, it's still there. All kinds of companies still shoot there. Like the show "Childrens Hospital" on adult swim was shot there.

@PandaPanda18 Hey Panda, I live on the next street over from this building. Its located @12600 block of Riverside Dr. Valley Village, Ca 91607. I believe Warner Bros. owns the building so they literally film there once or so a week.. Come check it out, Cheers!!

well they bought the whole structure so it makes sense to turn the extra space into post productions facilities for the show, then you can produce the whole thing from one location.
