The battle would be still more hard and good to see with Porsche 917 that won Le Mans in 1970 and 1971 in the grid,still more if a Porsche long tail had the experimental 64 valves 16 cylinder tested by Porsche in 1970. This engine was rated without turbo with the possibility of reach 1500 horsepower. It happened 40 years ago. Was said then,by an specialized racing that saw the road tests of this experimental Porsche with this engine,that the car could reach 0-62.5mph in just one second.
