Ah yes...always a favorite of mine, as Rudolph & I were

both created in 1938. By 1949, when Gene Autry made

Rudolph famous, in song, I was still among the class runts.

Thus, the Entiat, WA Grade School Christmas Play of 1950

featured me reciting the poem, Rudolph....from perfedt mote memory and recieving a standing ovation

Still my favorite.. This and the Burl Ives version always speak the joy and wonder of Christmas to me . My youngest starts asking right after Halloween for me to play this song while we drive around town. We were still listening on the trip out last night. Thanks..

This is one of the few songs that must be heard for me to get in the Christmas spirit. Brings back lots of memories of hearing this coming out of my mom's record player. She and my dad have since passed on, but the memories still spark when I hear this.
