Dead Fantasy episodes 3-5 were shown at FanimeCon 2009 @ Stage Zero.
Though episode 5 is more like a continuation of episode 3.

The full version of episodes 3-6 will hopefully be viewed at Anime Expo 2009.

@Princejay1994 Okay, so you're saying that Hitomi can hear the materia as it goes through the air? Or smell it? That's stretching it, and even then she'd need to know exactly where it is in relation to where she's grabbing, and a sense can't tell you how to use materia. As for her being trained to go against a materia user, that's all conjecture and we're never given any indication she was trained so. Your explanations, while thought out, aren't logical and more hyperbole than anything.

@Greatsaiyakirby Hitomi's Wing Chun ability was enhance by the materia that causes swiftness (the 2nd materia that was knock out). Also, hitomi, being blind, cannot see the materias. She was guided to their location by her other senses. She uses her senses to know the exact place and to know the abilities. Lastly, would you think Helena would sent out hitomi without any training about materias?No! Hitomi might had gone into a special training specifically for an enemy who uses materias.

@Katnipkity That's all fine and good, you'd just think being blind would reduce Hitomi's ability to use Wing Chun effectively, and still doesn't explain how she knew where the materia was when she hit it out of Tifa, or how she knows how to use it. It's not the outcome that bothered me, but the way it was done.

Also, Tifa's a monk class fighter. It wouldn't be her to use magic to defeat her opponent, she's going to beat them to a pulp with her fighting skills.. it just so happen in this circumstance her opponent was using a style of martial arts built on turning offensive fighting styles in on themselves and lost..

I think Wing Chun targets specific pressure points in the body that injure the muscles and causes them to contract, and I think from Monty's perspective this action would push the Materia from her body. And you can master Wing chun without seeing. Also, how I think Materia works is when you equip it, using the magic becomes sort of second nature. Like breathing, you don't really think about how your lungs contract and enflate they do it on their own. But you can activate it.

I'm not going to dispute that Hotomi won fairly, but it just seems to me her win wasn't handled as well. She's holding her own until she gets blinded..Then dominates with Wing Chun despite the handicap that she can't see. You'd think once she realised the wasn't going to win up close, Tifa would back away from Hitomi, but she keeps trying the same thing, while Hitomi steals more of her materia. Also, how does she know how to use materia or see it?
