The second part of "Celebrate Heritage, Celebrate Unity." A series of student protests took place at SFSU in the late 1960s to demand Ethnic Studies courses be developed on campus. Produced by Marisa Louie and Rich Bartlebaugh.

This program was an Honorable Mention at the 2008 NATOA Government Programming Awards.

  • This is pure agit prop. I was there. The students weren't given a strike vote, they were simply beaten up by the BSU and scared off by their bombs. The Ethnic Studies program was already okayed the year before. This was all an extortion gambit by the Gater 10 to avoid prison and by white radicals to loot student funds. It ended when the radicals were caught stealing. This idiot should go back and read the original sources.
