Personally I think they should have a limit on annoying-ass comments and one-liners for MMA commentators. The mere sound of his voice is annoying and his stupid one liners are very often disrespectful. Why they pay this guy to be such a tool is beyond me. He's like the Gilbert Gottfried of MMA commentating.

@CombatSportFan for the record, i said it was "fake sounding". I do like the guy on a personal level, the voice is just a little much, among other things that he says. You're right though, although I think Rogan is more qualified to have that kind of airtime than Goldy

@BHanson41z The funny thing is that is Mauro's real voice lol. Every fan I've met that has talked to him says "real voice." As for Goldberg and Rogan, Goldberg is a much more competent announcer than he seems. When you see him with anybody in the booth but Rogan it comes out a lot better. Because Rogan wants to hog the commentary and all Goldie gets to do is the ad banners I think Mike tries to over compensate for the limited time he gets. Rogan is good at explaining, but not good at announcing.

@CombatSportFan Mauro and Rogan have different jobs, though. For the record, anyone who knows anything about mixed martial arts has very high respect for Mauro. Where the hatred comes in is that his voice is so fake sounding that it's annoying. He sounds like he's trying to put on a show and people want real emotions. Such are Rogan's enthusiasm and Goldberg's stupidity, even if it is a bit much sometimes.
