  • I don't think it was the oboes fault it was just really high

  • Dude ... Next time, get a babysitter (so your little sister the oboe player won't ruin the performance). ... and WTF was with that arrangement? I mean, the guy's voices are AWESOME ... but what the hell tune was THAT? (maybe the music sheets were upside down or something?) Awesome voices, crummy tune and WTF was an oboe doing out there? What a disappointment, after all I'd heard about this choir.

  • What I would like to know is how many of the traditional male voice choir singers are Cornish or Welsh in origin?! The Cornish and Welsh are very big on Male Voice Choirs and emirated all over the world

  • @JoshEdelsmo The lyrics to "Danny Boy" were written by an English lawyer & lyricist named Frederic Weatherly in 1910. Although the lyrics were originally written for a different tune, Weatherly modified them to fit the tune "Derry Air" in 1913. Jane Ross of Limavady is credited with composing the melody to "Londonderry Air", in the mid-19th century .

  • @oneonetwosix1126 Hey m8 :) lower frequencies do have more harmonics :D thats why babies usually calm down when a father sing to them and things like that :)

  • Who is the composer of this piece?

  • I have formed a habit of listening to this everyday...it is so inspiring and beautiful that I never tire of it...

  • I was searching on youtube for the original tune of this song...but I must say this version is spectacular. And you can hear how silent the audience is as well. Beautiful rendition--you guys gave me chills.
