Incredible -- The sense of inherant 'right' of traffic and politeness is amazing, it must be a cultural thing. This kind of unregulated intersection could NEVER happen in the US without at least a dozen accidents in the same given situation and time frame. It really seems very efficient and with a set of understood 'rules' based on etiquette.

I should add that traffic in Nanchang is WORSER than most cities in China. That's bad.

You know those of you who are criticizing this...aren't actually watching the video. There are no accidents...this may not work in other countries but they appear to have a constant flow of traffic.

We spent a week in Nanchang in March 09 adopting our daughter - driving there was a sport!

I was in Nanchang in 2010, and they still drive like this, no improvement whatsoever
