This is just a cool mod that I saw on another YOUTUBE Video (thanks scorpius26!) It takes basic soldering skills, and about 30 minutes!

  • is it just me or does every diferent version of the ps2 have a diferent amount of boxes on the start sequence.

  • The number of boxes possibly has to do with different versions of firmware!? I Guess...

  • @Obamazing91 do u need a resistor? And if so what type of resistor will i need.

  • @incredableme63 No resistor needed, because the memory card has such a small voltage; just enough to power the LED.

  • @jedixo The boxes that appear on the start sequence are the amount of data that you have on the memory card

  • that was aonther one of lazy videos that dont explane things in detail
