is it just me or does every diferent version of the ps2 have a diferent amount of boxes on the start sequence.

The number of boxes possibly has to do with different versions of firmware!? I Guess...

@Obamazing91 do u need a resistor? And if so what type of resistor will i need.

@incredableme63 No resistor needed, because the memory card has such a small voltage; just enough to power the LED.
