This is a simple demonstration of a Wii Motion Plus controlling a rendered cube in real time. What you're seeing is me holding a Wii Motion Plus which I've attached lots of wires too, put through a level shifter and hooked up to the parallel port of my PC.

With no more than some bit-banging in software and some simple OpenGL, you get to see a cube being controlled directly by the Wii Motion Plus.

  • @gridvid I bought a Wii nunchuck, which has an accelerometer in it, and did some preliminaries, but I haven't combined sensor readings yet. If I get anywhere with that, I'll post updates on my blog.

  • Cool...

...the drift seems not so big in your video. In combination with the wiimote-accs its possible to recalibrate 2 axis.

    Did you continue on this?
