Unholy Matrimony - A documentary on forced marriages

Some communities in the UK still believe that forcing children into marriages can safe family honour. Even if they don't at least they would be happy to help others to be able to live in the UK by marrying their children to relatives' children living abroad.

Feel so sorry for some of the victims who have apparently been exploited by some prominent advocacy organisations or support groups. These organisations treat those victims as if they are commodities from whom they sell stories for funding. Those people are even not allowed to speak and tell their stories to journalists.

I produced this short yet simple documentary for my final MA International Broadcast Journalism project in the University of Westminster, London.

It just breaks my heart to listen to these stories. Im a nobody to the people in these videos, yet it hurts me to see there pain. But yet there parents dont seem to care for there own children. Its truly heartbreaking.

What i don't get is this "i love someone else" rubbish, my husband, whom i loved, called to uk, worked & got a house and car for him and made arrangements for him to work afte getting indifinate stay he suddenly remembers he loves someone else & married me because he had to come to uk!!! Bastards like him should be shot, What about me? and they say people here treat spouses unfairly, its one or the other, everyone uses one another, until someone proves otherwise thats my opinion for life.

I dnt know how long will it take to migrant families to learn????!?!?!?!? Parents have to respect childrens wishes and feelings too, it doesnt mean when you give birht to a child, you own her/his feelings and future...let her/him to choose and let them to face their future consequences... unfortunately people are stilling living in 10.the century.

Wake up, Parentsssssss! Don't burn you Prince/Princess life! It doesnt belong to you anymore...let them to decide!

2. ) I wouldn't give a damn about any of them, I would be actually hoping that every time one of them left the house that they would get hit by a car and die , And I'd be hoping every time one of them got sick that it was bad enough to kill them. 1. ) I wouldn't be able to deal with that, that's really messed up . If my parents forced me to marry someone I didn't know or love with them thinking " Oh you'll grow to love him " I would NEVER LOVE HIM I don't care how nice he was. That actually , would cause me to HATE him , my parents and also his parents .
