This is a film about sheepherders not cowboys. The subtitle, "The Last Ride of the American Cowboy" is clearly a faux pas. Neither sheepherders nor cowboys can stand being mistaken for the other. Cowboys get the press for being the loners, though, generally, their lives are socially buzzing compared to that of sheepherders.
