I had a very similar wound on my left hand from back in August, I know how you feel. Mine was just a bit in forward on my finger from yours, and I'm pretty sure I hit the bone, I think I heard it hit the bone and I had to pull it out with a good bit of force. Unfortunately I don't have your skills so I immobilized and bandaged for 2 days then let it air out for the 3rd day and rebandaged that night.

Wako it seems that the N690 worked very well after you changed the edge angle.

@mccullenj I am understanding that the N690 needs a bit deep angle like VG10 to hold its edge long in my individual deer dressing. Thanks.
