This album dropped in the fall of '91. That was right after the rodney king beating and before the verdict and riot in LA in the spring if '92. people forget about the political situation at the time surounding Crack, and guns and the new super violent style street gangs in America. Ice cube and others got the stories from the streets out to the masses. Hip-hop used to do stuff like that. now its former canadian child actors rappin about thier girlfriends.
