@mrslick58 Starting in 1967, the Cadillac Eldorado was only offered in FWD.
Get your facts straight man, it's not that hard...

@mrslick58 What??
Are you in denial that Eldorado's were FWD?
-
@Bosmob noway not back then
-
@Bosmob- I understand your point. But I have a 1973 Eldorado and would take nothing for it's fwd system. It's excellent driving (and, if need be, speed) in any weather.

The 500 doing what it was meant to do... God Bless America. :)

@DGKall2010 The 1970 was rated at 400 gross hp. Rating obviously fell precipitously with the compression drop and changeover to net ratings in 1971-72. By the time 1976 rolled around, the converter, AIR, EGR, and ultra-mild camming, etc., cratered the rating down to around 210 net hp. Torque by then was down from the 500 gross rating in 1970 to a little under 400 by '76. Still, several companies specialized in aftermarket go-fast goodies for these engines to make them properly scream.
Yea they used to call it a 6 plus 2
