The dance of the Little People from Walt Disney's Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959). Starring Albert Sharpe as Darby and Jimmy O'Dea as King Brian of Knocknasheega and of course his Leprechauns. What wonderful fiddling, bagpipes and dancing!

  • @FunkChicks08 Love it!

  • My great Granddad is Darby O'Gill (Albert Sharpe) ...

I dont think I could be more irish if I tried!:P xx

  • @charlottesharpable That is fantastic. Your Granddad is adorable and what a wonderful movie to remember him by. Thank you for sharing!

  • The old movies are the best, actors weren't as great as they are now but just the costumes, designs and colours made them brilliant.I'm surprised this didn't win an oscar,it'd beat the King's Speech any day!

  • @Seamus8080028 I agree with you that this movie should have received more attention, but your statement about actors not being as great in the old movies, I totally disagree with. There are so many brilliant and truly unforgettable actors in the classic films. I think that many so called actors now are horrible.

  • Did Disney redub this movie? I think so. I own the original and there are so many differences in the audio portion. Sad. Why couldn't they leave it alone..
