Part 1 of 3 features Mike Beecher introducing the Korg MP10 Pro Media Player.
This is an invaluable playback device for musicians, including keyboardists, singers and instrumentalists who provide entertainment on their own or with a singer in pubs, restaurants, shopping centres, schools, churches and on stage. Not just for the pro musician, it can be ideal for anyone who uses midi or mp3 music for DJ'ing, parties, weddings, church services, concerts, gigs and community music. Lightweight and very robust too, complete with padded carry case!

  • Thanks for these Informative Videos. Korg doesn't even have an introduction video and you managed to cover almost everything this thing can do.

  • @ooktar Hi ooktar, if you would like to see my setup using the Korg MP10 Pro, go to my website. I've been using the MP10 for over a year now and it has never let me down on gigs, and I use it with 2 ipads, one for music scores and the other for multimedia. Some more vids on way!

  • Great to know you're one of the many converted to using the Korg MP10 Pro - will advise Korg Uk to put a health warning on the box! Happy New Year! Mike Beecher

  • A guitarist certainly could be using this as a one-man band, but to get 3-part vocal harmonising, use MIDI files or a plyphonic guitar to Midi converter, NOT mp3, although you can add a single note pitch from your voice. Apart from this, the unit takes vocals via Mic1 and also your guitar via Mic2. Use your own FX pedals prior to Mic2 (limited to Reverb & Pan on this input). Your vocal can share a range of reverb fx with Mic2 and also add one of the delay fx. Use lyrics from MIDI, CDG or text.

  • How can a guitarist~singer use this device as one man band without a synth/ keyboard?

Hope one can connect a guitar to the dry mic input and able to use the effects?

The vocal effects indicated "choire" only. hope there's more for harmonies & vocodo

    Overall a lovely presentation

  • I'd give my left nut for an mp10

  • Hi Mike, Thanks very much for some very helpful videos. They have helped me decide to go and get one myself. I'm a guitarist/vocalist have been using a laptop and messing around with a small mouse track pad on the laptop left a lot to be desired when playing live and very troublesome. This is ideal for me as I couldn't use midi before without converting it to mp3 first. I'm currently waiting for delivery but I'm preparing some midi track. Looking forward to any other MP10 videos. Thanks so much.

  • Do each of the players have individual pitch adjust? If it does I would consider getting this...
