SAFE Graphics Card Overclocking: GeForce GT-220

[Please Read]

This is a video to show you how to overclock your Nvidia GeForec GT-220. This software also works form most other graphics cards.

{Only overclock when you need it, ie. playing a game. To help extend the life of your card, use default settings for normal computing. The fan especially should be set to Auto for normal use to prevent wear. Set to 100 when playing games}

The GT-220 is a very capible card, and has great capacity for cooling and colck speed increasing. with the settings I give you in this video, my card ran cooler than before it was overclocked (Maximum reached 70 degrees c) , plus I had 10% increases on frame rates.
Feel free to experiment for higher clock settings, I cranked her up to 750Mhz core clock, but games began crashing despite astonishing frame rates.

Hi,I need help maybe I missed something in your video (sorry) but I dont know if I need your program, I have SmartDoctor to my engt220 and I allways need to down graphic speed less than it is in default mod because if I will not do that it will crush and freeze my pc with black screen and Iam so tired and angry to do that because it seems like I have lay my money for nothing and games still lagging .Even CS1.6 with less graphics can crash my pc when SDoctor is in default mod.What I need to do?

@AtGodDante I would recommend using the program on here, I have never heard of SmartDoctor but if it is doing that try uninstalling it and and installing or re-installing the latest drivers for your card. Then use EVGA precision to overclock. What is happening to you is similar to what happened to me when I put the clock speed to high and the card crashes, but you say it still crashes at default settings? strange

@izawa20 Yeah it should still work, obviously you will need to use settings specific for that card which are probably much higher than the GT220, just experiment to find the highest clock speed for good performance and good stability.

Nice system by the way! ever thought about overclocking your CPU? can be risky but iv heard Core 2 Quads overclock well, I tried to overclock mine but I cant edit the bios because I have a dell motherboard :-/

I did hear that and really went up much crysis gave me 30 fps and up to 40 but suddenly the game was closed then opened again, and ran at 15 fps then the Target returns to normal and returned to 30 do not know why my target will change as I will in February but for the moment I would like to have it with my pc is overloking

And me i dont a fan on my card and its pretty well overclocked.

What is your cooler called its "Adventive cooler" which takes the heat from your nvidia card and spreads it out.

To get maximum cooling and overclock a little 1500 USB fan will be enough to put next to the graphic card

Do not put fan speed at 100% it will half your gpu life.

Put it at 93% instead.
