A taconite train led by a hard-pulling GE C44-9W runs down the "Peavine" towards Galesburg.

When I saw the approaching DPU, I decided to isolate on it with the zoomed in camera.

I've edited out about a minute of ore car sameness. And I've added a disclaimer regarding that.

  • Awesome! Love the SD70MAC! I think I asked you this before...What kind of cameras do you use? The quality is superior!

  • @dwkcamman611 Thanks. Glad you liked it. Canon HF S200 (1) and HF S100 (2) are the shooters. Most of my equipment is listed on my Youtube channel page.

  • @mcresq65 Interesting. It does look somewhat like "tilt/shift." And after I finished editing it, I too thought it looked like a model train.

Thanks for watching and the comment.

  • Have you noticed that in your first telephoto shot, that the depth of field is so compressed, it vaguely begins to resemble that "tilt/shift" look for a moment? The C-44 is so clear and precise that it almost looks more like a model than the real thing. Just my thoughts, others may not see it that way.

    But I liked it.

  • @jamile9292 Thanks much.
