The fish was attached to a red stick (red stands out better against the background) and then took a picture of the background without the penguins or fish afterwards. Then i just put one on top of the other and got rid of the stick.

Genius! Except I never made wallace and gromit, I just wanted the extra stuff - gromit's nose is on the polar bear in the piano one! :o)
