  • Things are not arranged the way they should be..how true about life...what a great song to console oneself with..

  • Lead singer: Steve Gilpin - BORN 1949 - DIED: January 6, 1992

In November 1991, while driving from a gig at Coolangatta, Gilpin was involved in a car accident, sustaining serious head injuries that left him in a coma. He never recovered, and died in Southport Hospital on Queenland's Gold Coast on 6 January 1992, aged 42.

    R.I.P. Steve

  • gives me goosebumps never dies this music

  • was thinking about poor old molly falling off the ladder,, and this song came to mind.. classic.

  • he was born in 1949? I find that hard to believe he was 20 years than me!! 80's song,,, I was in my late teens, I find it hard to believe he was late 30's!

  • So sad about Steve's death. If memory serves me right, his crashed car lay undiscovered for a few days, hidden down a bank, out of sight from passing motorists.

  • The greatest rock band New Zealand ever produced...............

  • @EoNzHD So true. Great song. Listening to words, the lead singer clearly understands about this issue and had the gutz to bring it to the public forum. Gratz to him.

  • I agrea with Craego. This was one of the best bands flowing thru the world at the time. The UK had PLENTY of bands, but we had some REAL quality kicking on, and you could see them at your bigger locals and RSL's.

  • i love this

  • Have always enjoyed this song, it is a pity that Steve Gilpin is no longer with us.

  • I grew up on this and Computer Games.....such great memories.
