We saw it in high school and everbody really liked the song, generations later.

The bad students then were not really that bad. Bad but not incorrigible. I saw this on TV in Singapore in the 70s when I was still in primary school. The bad students now...well let's say they can be really BAD. Too many bad distractions these days and meddlesome parents that stop a teacher from doing good.

I TOTALLY endorse all the previous comments - I saw this when I was at school too "many years ago" - abfab film and brilliant song- I believe it may have actually got to #1 in America (they obviously appreciated it more than us British!). This film is just like a "grown up" "Please Sir"!!!
