@GunMetalSparkle Yeah dude. Weckl sticks are all I've ever used. He's not necessarily on my list of top inlfuences (he's great, don't get me wrong), but I really love the weight and size of those sticks.

That's a big, beautiful kit. Sizes are enormous and I like it. :) I'd like to hear more than the snare though... haha

Yeah I play almost everything with a rim shot, I have a 5x14 Tama Superstar so it helps tons and it really doesn't eat my sticks all that much.

Rim shots= YES! I agree, I am playing in a live hip hop band right now and am using rims shots all the time. They're essential!
