VoIP Security Vulnerabilities and Solutions

The project will be on the VoIP and the vulnerabilities of the protocol. Aspects of both the vulnerabilities and the defenses used against monitoring/attacks will be covered. Sniffer software such as Wireshark will be used to sniff for the packets. VoIP monitoring/recording software such as VoIPONG will be used as well. The goal of the project is to demonstrate the vulnerabilities of VoIP and what can be done to lessen the chance of a VoIP attack. Countermeasures and solutions to VoIP vulnerabilities will be presented. The project will be presented in video format and with screen captures of the software in action.
