ms. sotomayor is not some latina girl they just happened to pick off the streets... she was a judge on the 2nd circuit for over 10 years and has decided on over 3000 cases.. maddow is right, she wasn't just picked because she was latina, she actually has the qualifications.. mr buchanan should have researched her better.. affirmative action, come on... he's just mad it wasn't another white male who got the gig..

Yikes....Rachael came off completely clueless in that debate. She kept trying to shift the debate away from Sotomaayer's credentials. She also ended the interview when she couldn't answer Buchannan's final question.

It's funny this Dork doesn't mention how C. Thomas benefitted from AA! Or, the many examples of discrimination against Blacks, Hispanics, Women and other groups. Let's remove AA and see how much Pat Buchannan would stick up for those people who were attacked by DOGS and WATER HOSES. The ones who just wanted the right to attend schools, rest. and vote. Pat Buchanan definitions of "Affirmative Action" are simply disgusting! The Republicans can not find a real reason for not voting for Sonia Sotomayor and so what they're doing is alienating minorities, which in my opinion, is the best thing they have done in years, finally people can see the real face of the Republican Party, I hope people will not forget this behavior over the next few election cycles!
