Why is that? You should be against Georgia, after all they started the war.

Unless you live in the US, the country that has created 99.99% of this planet's war by themselves including WWI WWII Vietnam, Afghan, Iraq, etc etc etc..

@r4f4st4n1 I thought I was talking to the person I initially responded to. What are you doing butting in? It's complicated, all three times. Saakashvili chose to attack Tskhinvali, but the Ossetians were already shelling across the border and the Russians were primed and ready to intervene in a war they had been trying very hard to start. Regimes love successful little wars, the U.S. included. The way I see it, all sides wanted it, except the Georgiand and Ossetian civilians who suffered from it

Saying things like "Russian started the war!" makes it obvious that you have a simplistic, biased view of the events and makes it hard for any serious person to take you seriously.

Russia didn't start the 1918 war. Russia didn't start the 2008 war. It's a long conflict, so what does it matter what they did in 1991?

@r4f4st4n1 I'm not well-versed in the history before 1918. But the Russians were involved even in the nineteenth century, using friendly Ossetians as a stepping stone to colonize the South Caucasus. No heroes or villains in this story.
